He is the author of the books, ACCELERATE: 20 Practical Lessons to Boost Business Momentum (2007) and Corporate Catalysts: How to Make Your Company More Successful, Whatever Your Title, Income, or Authority (2005), which was translated into Chinese. These books have been used in executive education programs at Toyota, Marriott, McDonald's, Boeing, Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Quality Review, and ABA.

Dan has provided more than 400 presentations on business acceleration across the United States. His topics include change management, leadership, quality, teamwork, branding, and innovation. His research includes more than 3,000 hours on site observing executives and managers in a wide variety of working situations.
As an Executive Coach, he has provided more than 1,500 coaching sessions for division presidents, vice-presidents, and senior directors in Fortune 500 companies and major privately owned firms. As an OD (Organizational Development) Consultant, Dan focuses on strategy, planning, and execution.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's Degree in arts and teaching from Webster University. He has served as an adjunct professor on entrepreneurship and business for St. Louis University and Webster University.
Dan lives in St. Louis, MO with his wife, Barb, and their children, Sarah and Ben.
